XRP supply & escrow stats
The headline numbers below are read from the latest validated ledger on public XRP Ledger servers, so you can check every one of them yourself. For holder-distribution tables (how many wallets hold at least X XRP) we link to a dedicated rich-list site; the card below explains why we don’t compute them ourselves yet.

Holder distribution
Counting how many accounts hold at least 1, 1k, 1M… XRP, and the balance needed to reach the top 0.01%, 0.1%, 1% and 10%, means reading every one of the ~7 million accounts at a single ledger. We measured it on Oct 29, 2026: a public XRPL server returns about 840 accounts per ledger_data page, so one snapshot is roughly 8,000+ requests and ~1.8 GB of data, taking about 2 hours. That’s more than we want to ask of free public servers every day, and more than a shared web host can run, so we’ll only add it once we run our own XRPL node.
Meanwhile, rich-list.info shows a live XRP rich list with balance ranges and percentiles. It’s an independent site; we link to it as a resource but don’t copy its data.
